Born a poor street urchin in Antiva Lonàn learned how to be a criminal young. He learned to pick pockets, steal and scam from those on the streets of the port city where he grew up. His father was a fisherman when he wasn't too busy being a drunk. Lonàn learned to dodge blows and hide when his father flew in to drunken rages. He learned quickly how to be silent, quick and most importantly careful.

He learned to kill when his father came at him one night for not bringing enough money home. At the tender age of fifteen he sliced his father's stomach open with an axe then threw the man's body in to the river. One of the Crows discovered what he had done when he came to collect on a debt Lonàn's father owed. He took Lonàn as payment.

By the time he was thirty Lonàn, known as Hook in the criminal underworld, was well established as a Crow who was happy to get any information you wanted with no fuss and kill with no way to connect back to the source. As he’s gotten older, he’s settled down more, taking few jobs for only a few trusted clients or organizations. His cover is owning and running a bar in the docks known as the Hook & Crook.
